Hebrew educator of Russian origin. He was born in Minsk and emigrated to Palestine in 1925. From 1954 to 1968 he was director of the Bet ha-Kerem Teachers' Institute in Jerusalem. He published stories, poems and plays for children, translated children's books into Hebrew, and compiled a Hebrew dictionary.
