   Stated by Manethoto comprise nine kings of Memphis. Very little is known about this dynasty, the most famous ruler being Djoser, for whose burial the step pyramid was allegedly designed by Imhotep. These rulers were buried at Saqqara. This dynasty is usually considered to mark the beginning of the Old Kingdom.
