   William Jason Ferguson was born in Baltimore and began his career as a call-boy at Ford's Theatre in Washington, D.C. During his six decades as an actor, he performed with Richard Mansfield, Robert Mantell, and Helena Modjeska. At the time of his death, he was the oldest living member of the Lambs' and the last surviving member of the cast of Our American Cousin that had been in performance at Ford's Theatre on the night President Abraham Lincoln was assassinated by actor John Wilkes Booth.
