ACCESA LAKE (LAGO DI ACCESA)

найдено в "Historical Dictionary of the Etruscans"

The location of a rural settle- ment dependent on Vetulonia in the late seventh century and early sixth century BC with an associated cemetery. The community has been interpreted by the excavator as engaged in metal extraction from the Colline Metallifere (although no direct evidence has been found) and consists of a dispersed series of rectangular drystone foundations of buildings. It is an example of an excavated Etruscan village, with typical finds of ceramics and metal, which is where its importance lies. The cemetery was used for a longer period than the settlement, from the end of the ninth to the early sixth century BC.
