BRAUER, ERICH

(b. 1929)

   Austrian painter. He was born in Vienna. From 1938 to 1945 he was interned in a concentration camp. After the liberation he travelled extensively, and lived in Austria and Israel. His paintings depict crimes against the Jews, such as pogroms and the Holocaust.
