Adda, Presb. (17. Jan.) Der Priester Adda war nach der Behauptung Einiger der Apostel des Staates Mercia in England und wird von ihnen unter die »Seligen« gezählt. Fälschlich jedoch halten ihn Andere für den Apostel vom Northumberland. Der ehrwürdige Beda hat (cap. 21. libr. 3.) eine Lobrede auf ihn hinterlassen.
