BEN ASHER, AARON BEN MOSES

   Palestinian masoretic scholar. He lived in Tiberias. He produced a biblical manuscript incorporating vocalization and accentuation, which formed the basis for the accepted Hebrew text of the Bible. He also wrote grammatical works in the tradition of the scholars of Tiberias.
