STEFFE, CYNTHIA

   A graduate of the Parsons School of Design and the recipient of both the Designer of the Year Award and the Donna Karan Gold Thimble Award, Steffe launched her first line in 1989. In 2000, she became part of Leslie Fay Brands. In 2001, Steffe launched Cynthia Steffe Black Label, a step above her Cynthia Steffe contemporary market sportswear line. In 2004, the Cynthia Steffe company was sold to Chaus.
