SARAFPOUR, BEHNAZ

   Born in Iran but raised in Philadelphia, Sarafpour graduated from the Parsons School of Design and went to work for Isaac Mizrahi before his company closed in 1998. Before opening her own business in 2001, she designed private label merchandise for Barneys New York. Her collection is best described as classic sportswear with a feminine touch.
