BADGLEY MISCHKA

   Mark Badgley (1961- ) and James Mischka (1960- ) are the men behind the name. They began their business in 1987 and from 1992 to 2004 Escada USA was their parent company. Candies Inc. and a partnership with Groupe JS International have financially backed them since 2005. Often drawing inspiration from the 1920s and 1930s, they are known for various shades of blush in their soft, elegant eveningwear collections. In 2006, the duo teamed up with celebrities Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen. The twins have a reputation for an energized and freestyle sense of fashion, which gives an edge that complements the soft Badgley Mischka look.
