DISAPPEARANCE THEORY

найдено в "Philosophy dictionary"

Any theory that, whilst purporting to give an account of some phenomenon, actually has the consequence that it does not exist. Various theories of mind are charged with this defect. For example, a view that approaches the question what it is to think by examining what it is for an interpreter to attribute thought, faces a potentially vicious regress when it is asked for an account of what it is for the interpreter to be thinking. See also eliminativism.
