ESCOBAR, CUCA

(1911-1959)

   radio comedienne, known as "Cuca la telefonista" (Cuca the Telephone Operator), who appeared in some films of the 1940s. Known for her extremely slow manner of speech; worked with David T. Bamberg "Fu Man Chu" on his radio show and in several of his pictures.
