DAUBE, DAVID

(1909-89)

   British jurist and biblical scholar. He was born in Freiburg, Germany. He taught at the universities of Cambridge, Aberdeen and Oxford, and at the University of California. He wrote studies of biblical and rabbinic law, the New Testament and rabbinic Judaism, and various themes in Scripture.
