   Born in Milton, Kentucky, the wife of playwright George H. Broadhurst was a playwright, director, and scene designer. Broadhurst produced her comedy The Wonderful Thing (1920), starring Jeanne Eagels, and it ran for 120 performances. She directed several plays and with Broadhurst wrote The Woman on the Index (1918), The Red Falcon (1924), and Izzy (1924).
