DUKER, ABRAHAM GORDON

   American educator and historian. He was born in Poland and went to the US in 1923. From 1956 to 1962 he was president of the Chicago Spertus College of Judaica. In 1963 he became director of the libraries and professor of history and social institutions at Yeshiva University. He wrote studies of Polish-Jewish relations and American Jewish sociology.
