Hebrew printer. Born in Antwerp, he founded a Hebrew publishing firm in Venice in 1516 which published about 200 books, including the first complete editions of the Palestinian and Babylonian Talmuds, the Tosephta, and the Rabbinic Bible. His pagination of the Talmud has become standard.
