C-proteins: translation

Striated muscle thick filament-associated proteins (140-150 kD) that show up in the C-zone of the A-band as 43nm transverse stripes. Structurally related to various other myosin-binding proteins (twitchin, titin, myosin light chain kinase, skelemin, 86 kD protein, projectin, M-protein).
