BULL HEAD TAVERN

   On the south side of Holborn Hill, east of Shoe Lane, adjoining Plumtree Court. In Farringdon Ward Without (Strype, ed. 1720, I. iii. 283).

   Strype says the tavern was erected on the site of Feathers Alley.
