DESHALIT, AMOS

(1926-69)

   Israeli nuclear physicist. He studied in Switzerland and later at Princeton. He returned to Israel in 1953 and became head of the nuclear physics department of the Weizmann Institute. In 1965 he recived the Israel Prize for Natural Sciences.
