Group of compounds, all derivatives of 2-(2-isopropyl-5-methylphenyl) -5-pentylresorcinol, found in cannabis. Most important members of the group are cannabidiol, cannabidol and various tetra-hydrocannabinols (THCs). Bind to the cannabinoid receptors and mimic actions of endogenous agonists anandamide and palmitoyl ethanolamine.
