Knowledge in general. In Plato, knowledge of a kind that falls short of the highest kind, noēsis . Dianoia describes knowledge of mathematical and technical subjects. See also line . It is subdivided in Aristotle into real theoretical knowledge, techn , or know-how, and phronēsis , or practical and moral wisdom.
