ANVERS, BOULEVARD D'/ ANTWERPENLAAN

   The boulevard d'Anvers is the oldest thoroughfare of the inner ring road. The work of leveling ditches and grading for the roadway began in 1816. The street was first named boulevard Guillaume and it was changed to its present title in 1830 following the Belgian Revolution.
