APTOWITZER, AVIGDOR

(1871-1942)

   Galician rabbinical scholar. He taught Talmud at the Hebrew Teachers College in Vienna from 1919 until 1938, when he settled in Jerusalem. He published studies on various aspects of rabbinic literature and Jewish history.
