(1924-65)

Israeli spy. Born in Alexandria, he settled in Israel. Serving with the Israel intelligence service, he was arrested in Damascus as an Israeli secret agent. Convicted on a charge of espionage, he was sentenced to death. Despite efforts to commute his sentence, he was hanged.
