1) fish that are caught but do not have market value as food, fish parts as a by-product of the production process. May be used for fish meal, fish oil, pet food, hatchery food, animal food, and other byproducts
2) fish remains after oil has been extracted; often used as fertiliser. Also called fish pomace, fish scrap
