   Born in New York, Pedro De Cordoba enjoyed a stage career before settling in Hollywood to work in motion pictures. He made his stage debut with E. H. Sothern's company in 1902 and continued to perform with Sothern until 1907. After a tour in support of John Griffith's Shakespearean repertory, De Cordoba worked steadily in New York in a variety of roles, playing opposite Margaret Anglin in 1914 and in Minnie Maddern Fiske's company in 1928.
