AMYLOIDOGENIC GLYCOPROTEIN

An integral membrane glycoprotein of the brain, and related to the Drosophila vnd -gene product. A precursor of b -amyloid, that accumulates in Alzheimer\'s disease and Down\'s syndrome. See amyloid precursor protein.
