Djabir Ịbn Ạflach
[dʒ-], al-Ischbili, latinisiert Geber Hispalẹnsis, arabischer Astronom des 12. Jahrhunderts aus Sevilla; verfasste einen Kommentar zum Almagest, in dem er Ptolemäus angriff.Durch die Übersetzung des Gerhard von Cremona beeinflusste sein Werk die Astronomie und Trigonometrie des lateinischen Westens.
