COHEN, LIONEL

(1888-1973)

   British jurist. Born in London, he studied at Oxford and became a successful barrister. He was a draftsman of the amended Companies Act of 1948. In 1943 he became a judge, and later Lord Justice of Appeal. From 1946-56 he was head of the Royal Commission.
