Hanns Heinz, Schriftsteller, * Düsseldorf 3. 11. 1871, ✝ Berlin 12. 6. 1943; schrieb fantastische Erzählungen und Romane, in denen er erotische, sadistische und okkultistische Motive verwendet, sowie Reisebücher und das Libretto zu E. d'Alberts »Die toten Augen« (1913). Den Nationalsozialisten wollte er sich mit den Propagandaromanen »Horst Wessel« (1932) und »Reiter in deutscher Nacht« (1932) andienen, seine Bücher wurden jedoch 1934 als dekadent verboten.
