Central American Free Trade Agreement: translation

(CAFTA)
A free-trade agreement between the United States and six Central American nations: Honduras, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic. Proposed by President George W. Bush in 2002 and ratified by the U.S. Congress in 2005, it is thought that this agreement would create productive employment and raise income levels in Central America as well as open new markets.
