Farwell
['fɑːwel], Arthur George, amerikanischer Komponist, * Saint Paul (Minnesota) 23. 4. 1872, ✝ New York 20. 1. 1952; studierte in Boston, Berlin (E. Humperdinck, H. Pfitzner) und Paris (A. Guilmant); entwickelte unter Verwendung von Elementen der indianischen Folklore eine national-amerikanische Musik in spätromantischem Stil.
