CHANDOS ANTHEMS

   Set of 11 verse anthems and one Te Deum composed for James Brydges, later Duke of Chandos, by George Frideric Handel in 1717–1718 while he was in residence at Brydges’ Cannons estate in Edgeware, England. The scoring is for woodwinds, strings, three- or four-voiced choir, and soloists.
