FEINSTEIN, MOSES

(1895-1986)

   Orthodox scholar of Belorussian origin. Born in Uzda, Belorussia, he became rabbi of Luban, Belorussia. Later he emigrated to the US and became the rosh yeshivah of the Metivta Tifereth Yerushalayim. He served as president of the Union of Orthodox Rabbis of the United States and Canada. He wrote numerous responsa dealing with a wide range of problems.
