Bacterial exotoxins (bacteriocins) that affect other bacteria. Colicins E2 and E3 are AB toxins with DNAase and RNAase activity respectively. Most other colicins are channel-forming transmembrane peptides. Coded on plasmids which can be transferred at conjugation.
