   Translator. A Danish diplomat with a passion for German theater, Baudissin, with Dorothea Tieck, translated 13 Shakespeare plays into German, helping to complete the standard Schlegel-Tieck translations of Shakespeare for the stage. Baudissin also translated four volumes of Molière's works into stage German, along with several Gozzi and Goldoni comedies.
