FLEG, EDMOND

(1874-1963)

   French poet, playwright and essayist. He lived in Paris, where he worked as a theatre critic and playwright. Jewish themes are found throughout his work, his writings include Ecoute Israel, Pourquoi je suis Juif, Ma Palestine, L'anthologie juive, and Jesus, raconte par le Juif Errant.
