ATLAN, LILIANE

(b. 1932)

   French dramatist and poet. She was born in Montpellier. She went into hiding during World War II. After the war, she became interested in metaphysical issues. One of her plays, Mister Fugue, or Earth Sick, depicts the fantasies of children sent to the crematorium in the concen-tration camps.
