CARID PRAWN

Prawns of the infraorder Caridea, which include fresh and brackish water shrimps and prawns and snapping shrimps. Members of Caridea carry fertilised eggs below the abdominal segments of the female, whereas in the infraorder Penaeidea females release their eggs directly into the sea.
