DEADWOOD, SOUTH DAKOTA

найдено в "Westerns in Cinema"

This historical town has nearly always been associated with two things in cinema Westerns: the gold rush in the Black Hills that precipitated the Sioux uprisings of the 1870s and the murder of lawman Wild Bill Hickok. Hickok was playing poker in a saloon and holding the dead man’s hand—a hand of aces and eights—when he was shot in the back.
