(1896-1966)
   American physician and editor. He was born in Russia, and was taken to Palestine in 1908. He was forced to emigrate by the Turkish authorities in 1916 and later settled in the US. He was head of the gastroenterological department of the Bronx Hospital in New York. In 1926 he founded (with Asher Goldstein) the Hebrew medical journal Ha-Rophe ha-Ivri.
