   Israeli poet and novelist. He served in the chaplaincy corps of the Israeli army. He published poems and short stories from an early age. His collection of poems Shashuim Yom-Yom (Day to Day Delights) portrays a religious upbringing in Jerusalem in the early years of the State of Israel. His novel Notzot (Feathers) depicts the memories of an Orthodox boy from Jerusalem who, as a soldier, served in a burial unit at the Suez Canal. Et Hazamir (The Time of Trimming) is a political satire about the religious nationalist movement.
