   Cavalli entered the fashion world in Italy in the late 1960s. Credited with giving denim and leather luxury status, Cavalli's designs have a sexy edge. In 2002, he was awarded the Fashion Group Designer of the Year Award. Cavalli also designs menswear and childrenswear.
