   Leading from New Bridge Street at its southern end to Blackfriars Bridge. In Farringdon Wards Within and Without (Horwood, 1799-O.S. 1848-51).
   Named after W. Pitt, first Earl of Chatham.
   Wheatley says it was originally called Chatham Square.
   Site now covered by Blackfriars Station.
