BRUNNER, CONSTANTIN (WERTHEIMER, LEOPOLD)

(1862-1937)

   German philosopher. He lived in Potsdam until 1933, and then emigrated to the Netherlands. His philosophy was influenced by Plato and Spinoza. As part of his theory of society he opposed Zionism and argued for the assimilation of the Jews.
