   The residence of Fulke Greville, Lord Brooke.

   Formerly called Bath Place (q.v.) as being the residence of Earl of Bath, 1623.

   By Letters Patent, 34 Chas. II., a market was authorised to be held at Brook House Orchard four times weekly (MSS. H. of Lords).
