CROSTOLETTO DI LAMONE

   A final Bronze Age burial complex in the Fiora Valley area of southern Etruria with mixed funerary rites that also comprised large walled constructions and perhaps a settlement. The site has been used as evidence for social complexity in the Final Bronze Age, suggesting that there was already some difference of status among individuals even at this early stage. Other contemporary settlements in the Fiora Valley area include Scarceta and Sorgenti della Nova.
