CARO, NIKODEM

(1871-1935)

   German chemist, of Polish origin. Born in L6dz, Poland, he studied at Berlin University. He set up his own laboratory, and later became a consultant to the chemical industry and director of Stickstoffwereke A. G. He took out numerous patents, and published Handbuch fur Acetylen.
