   Actress. Andree began her career in film and television, playing leading roles in several comedies, but establishing herself as a serious actress in the German version of John Os-borne's Look Back in Anger (as Alison) in 1958. In the 1960s she began working extensively in theater, beginning in Munich with Fritz Kortner in his 1967 production of Miss Julie. During the 1970s she was a member of the Hamburg Thalia Theater company under Boy Gobert, playing several leading roles in plays by Friedrich Schiller, Henrik Ibsen, Frank Wedekind, and Harold Pinter. In the 1980s she worked extensively with Jürgen Flinim and Robert Wilson in Cologne. For more than three decades she also worked in the dubbing market, speaking the translated lines of numerous actresses in American, French, and Swedish films.
