   A department store founded in Seattle, Washington, in 1890 by the Nordhoff family. It was named after the noted Paris retail establishment founded forty years prior and it catered to the working-class consumers in the Northwest United States.

   One of the the oldest department stores in Brussels, Bon Marché was founded in 1845 on the corner of rue Neuve and rue de la Blanchisserie as a novelty store under the name "Au Bon Marché" by Nicolas Auguste and Célestine Thiery.
